Unibet Email Design System

Objective

As Unibet has a new tool (PEGA), the objective was to design a new email design system that changes the way customers are targeted, which allows for a modular approach for flexible marketing. As such, 28 “campaigns” were created for PEGA to arbitrate between, in order to cross-sell Unibet Sports customers to Unibet Casino. This allows to have an automated system with hyper targeted versioning. Messages will be more relevant to customers, and PEGA will provide data around performance so the creative can improve accordingly.

Solution

We initially had a sprint session where individuals from different departments collaborated using a collaboration platform (Miro) to collate everyones ideas. My idea, because of the thinking behind the visual direction as well as considering how we can implement a modular approach, had been agreed by everyone. I was then chosen to follow this project all the way through. I had collaborated and worked very closely with a UI designer in order to deliver, implement and collate everything from the sprint session. We had thought through every angle that would help with this modular approach, including design, components, colours, fonts, codes, spacing, sizing etc. Throughout this project we have had nothing but great positive feedback from stakeholders and is proving to be a success.
